I’m Still on that Star Wars Stuff

Remember when I was on that Star Wars stuff back last spring? I had gone to Celebration Japan, Andor had just come out, Episode III was back in theaters, and it ignited an interest I hadn’t fully immersed myself in for over a decade.

Well… It’s not gone. It’s still here. Never even left.

Unlike when I got back into MS Paint Adventures and it dominated my attention for 3-4 months, Star Wars is an everlasting proposition, a limitless hobby. There’s just SO MUCH of it, and as long as I’m not letting my love be tainted by the obnoxious fans, I can enjoy every second of it.

  • I played the Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor games, and played as much of Outlaws as I could before its horrible optimization caused it to crash constantly on my PC and I had to quit.
  • I showed the entire Skywalker Saga to my friend Fruz. Yes, that included the 2003 Clone Wars which is an essential watch.
  • I rewatched the entire The Clone Wars series.
  • I’ve read almost all of the New Canon comics, except the Dark Horse ones and anything High Republic.
  • I’ve been reading ALL of the Star Wars Legends comics. As of this writing, I’ve read 32 of the Epic Collections, as well as all The Clone Wars tie-in comics, the Clone Wars Adventures comics, the Hyperspace webstrips, and the Podracing Tales one-shot that Marvel forgot to collect. All that remains are 16 Epic Collections, the digest-size Star Wars Adventures comics, and Ewoks: Shadows of Endor. I am very nearly complete…
  • I wrote multiple alternate history Star Wars blog drafts in the vein of my Nintendo Buying Rare post, but none of them are finished yet.

My spirit has shown no signs of slowing down now, and with Mandalorian & Grogu releasing in a few months, I’ll inevitably end up revisiting that series as well.
