Back on that Star Wars Stuff

Lately, I’ve been so back on that Star Wars stuff.

After I went to Celebration Japan in April, I was in a quite Star Wars-y mood. Then Andor Season 2 came out and I ravenously devoured every episode for the next four weeks. Then Revenge of the Sith came out during Golden Week, and I was fully absorbed.

Since then, I’ve been back on that Star Wars stuff in a way I haven’t been since The Force Awakens came out a decade ago. I’ve been rewatching the movies. Browsing Wookiepedia for fun. Reading so, so many comics. Legends and New Canon alike, they are all for me.

In fact, I read all of the New Canon comics set between Episodes 4 and 5 recently, and I’m midway through the comics between Episodes 5 and 6. I even saw all of The Bad Batch!

It’s been nothing but joy in my heart to rejoin the Star Wars fold. Unlike most normal people, I love every part of Star Wars. The cool fighting, the nice romances, the revolutionary optimism, the mystical weirdness, the goofy puppets, the swashbuckling adventure. I love every era, I love all my Glup Shittos, I appreciate all eleven live-action theatrical movies, all three live-action TV movies, all four of the animated movies, all six-plus animated TV shows, all six-plus live-action TV shows…

Star Wars fandom tends to be focusing on what stuff you hate. Not me. I’m just happy about it, with no real caveats.

If this doesn’t rest soon, you’re gonna inevitably see me speculating too much about Star Wars and end up writing my own fan fictions…

It probably won’t last that much longer. Whenever I get really into media, I get REALLY into stuff, and lose my energy over the next few weeks until I find something new. But it’ll always be there for me in the future… Fire Emblem is the other main contender with this…

Anyway, just wanted to keep all y’all updated on my latest thing.
